hi. i hope everyone had a great holiday. i am writing because i need some prayers/good thoughts for my five year old daughter Carly.
she is in the midst of being tested for muscular dystrophy. she has extreme muscle weakness in her legs, hands, and feet. she was seen by a neurologist yesterday. her symptoms have been ongoing. while there, the dr even had me do some tests and said i have a lot of weakness too. MD is genetic, so thats a little unnerving. I will not worry about myself though, until I know the root of Carlys issue. On the 18th of January she will have an EMG test and muscle biopsy done. I am keeping it together for the most part, until i know things for certain. just, please, if you can, keep her in your thoughts and prayers. thanks!!

I will absolutely keep your family in my prayers. It is the hardest thing for a mother's heart to bear, to see your child not well. Do you have a support system for you? Family, friends, church? Reaching out to others when things get frightening is so crucial. We are here, but having someone geographically close is important too! I will be thinking of you-especially on the 18th. Let us know how things turn out.

thank you, all. while I may not have my familys support so much when it comes to panic/anxiety, this is a different story. people in my family have called to talk to me, have made offers to babysit my other children during dr visits, and such. for that, i am grateful.
I have to believe that Carly will be okay.( my screenname is her nickname) if she isnt, then we will get through things as they come:)

I am continuing to keep you and your daughter in my prayers. It is good to read your family has come forward in a crisis. This let's you know how much your family loves you and cares for both you and your daughter.

My heart goes out to you... I too have a daughter Carly and shes very special to me, as I know yours is to you.. I will pray for you both and your family as well as I know this is a very difficult time for you all. Let us know hows shes doing... we'll be rooting for you!!!
