I just quit myself on the 4th, it's now the 28th so it's been a little over 3 weeks.
I was going to use the patch and tried to get some for free but it took so long, OVER 2 months at the 1-800-QUIT-NOW number that by the time I got them I had already stopped 5 days before so I'll just save them in case I need them at another time. I hope this is my last time quitting. Done it before for a few years at a time, I guess that counts for something somehow.
The problems with the 800 quit now thing is administrative. Too much red tape and too much STUFF going on. They actually inhibited my stopping with all their, go the site, which won't load, call the quit coach, which I did 4 times, blah, blah, blah. It was very frustrating. I'm an adult. I think when I make the decision to quit and ask for the patches they should just give them to me and stop making me jump through hoops. My doctor had to call them 3 times to tell them to get on the darned stick!!
