Hi Vems and welcome! I am sorry to hear that you are struggling with this right now. I understand how you feel, as I have a similar phobia about stomach and intestinal issues:(
I would recommend seeing your doctor to be sure that it is indeed just anxiety causing your symptoms. Many, many things can cause GI trouble. Also some stomach issues can start out from stress, but then need to be managed medically. (IBS, ulcers)
If it turns out that it is all anxiety caused, then you need to start to treat the anxiety through therapy, medication, or both. Again, your doctor can help you here...even give you a referral to a therapist.
In therapy, you will learn to manage your over-all stress, your health anxiety and your specific phobia. This will free you from your fear and symptoms!
In the meantime try some breathing and relaxation exercises. We have links to videos that teach them in our Anxiety Resource Guide (main page 3rd post)
Also a positive mantra will help to defuse those fearful and negative thoughts. Try repeating to yourself when you are feeling nauseous and/or scared 'I am okay, this is only fear making me feel this way and it will pass.'
Practicing these simple techniques on a daily basis will help you, really!
I hope that this gives you a good place to start. Post anytime that you have questions of want to share. We are here to help and support each other:)
Good luck and good health!
