You have gotten some great advice from sjennings!
Another thing that you may want to add to your arsenal of panic busters is a positive mantra. This is a phrase that you can repeat to yourself whenever you are afraid and in fear of losing control, wherever you are.
You will want to come up with one that best suits you, but here are a couple of ideas...
"I am okay, it is only fear and panic that is making me feel this way."
"I have felt this way before and everything turned out fine...these feelings will pass."
When we speak words to ourselves, they do have an effect on us...for good...or bad. Speaking positive things, even if we do not fully believe it at first will work to counteract the fear!
Try it and see how it works, it may take a little practice, and it may not take all of the anxiety away completely...but it should allow you to conquer just about any situation with more ease.:)
Best wishes!
