It took me almost 8 yrs to get out of this problem. It is a paradox. The problem creeps up when you begin to think of it as a problem. When you dont over react to bodily sensations, be natural, you exhaust the fuel to allow your mind to race away with thoughts. Meaning, you should go the other way around and invite more panic attacks. Sounds weird, but if you have even 1% fear in your remote part of the mind that the panic will harm you or you dont ever wanna see them, you can be 100% assured that you will never feel free in your life. Treat the panic as your friend who has come to see you. Invite it close to you, watch it and watch it go away. I have never taken medications. Medication doesnt solve the problem. I believe in solving the problem, not subsidising or suppressing it. Please do some meditation, that is the only best way to come out of this problem ( or should I say no problem).. Drink water, exert, eat fruits, vegetables for faster recovery. Tapping on certain points in the body does help. Gamut( centre point in the bone below the eyees, tapping the hand palms, tapping the point between collar bone and chest area, tapping below the armpits, etc also helps...
