I am sorry to hear that you are having one of the bad days...we have all been there.
Sometimes going to work can be a distraction, but there is something to be said for staying home and taking care of yourself as well.:)
If you can't get into working at the moment, why not really take the day off, and try to do something that you enjoy enough, that will take your mind off how you are feeling?
Everyone has different things that make them feel better. I tend to try to get out. Not somewhere super crowded like the mall, but maybe the bookstore, where I can get a coffee and browse the books for awhile.
If getting out is a challenge/trigger for you, then maybe doing something like watching a funny movie, working on a hobby, doing some games on-line could be the thing to bring your anxiety down.
I hope that you start to feel better, and can get past this time soon...have a 'Do Over' to the start of the week!;)
