Update

Well it's been 5 days since I had my Psych doc visit and it was a nice and relaxing visit unlike some of the normal new doctor visits I've been to. The doc agreed the Migraines and Anxiety seem to exist with each other and started me on Klonopin .5mg x2 a day when needed (I've been bad and have been taking it for the last 5 days, I know that's bad) and Buspar 2.5 mg 3x day till this Sat. when I go to 5 MG 3 xday. As I suffer from chronic migraines I have as of this writing have not had a migraine since starting the medication (I'm hoping to stiop the Klonopin daily once I as soon as I go to the 5mg buspar 3xday). I'm not sure if anyone has stepped up buspar from 2.5mg 3xday to 5mg 3xday and is fo what might I see for side effects othe than possible dizziness (Doc told me about that with the med). I can't remember feeling this great and hope to keep feeling this way. Great job on getting the help that you need! I am so happy that you are feeling better.

I am not super knowledgable about meds...but I really don't think that short term use of the benzos are going to be a problem. You are going to level out and get on a more stable regime, and that is fine. Like you said, once you get to your full dosage of Buspar, you can dial down the Klonopin...and maybe have it just for any breakthough anxiety episodes.
