Hey everyone,
Last Wednesday night we had a thunderstorm and my son woke me up to come in and lay down with him. Well, a big clap of thunder came and he shot his arm over while it was in a fist and punched me right in the temple! He's 9 so it wasn't a weak punch either. Anyway, I went back to sleep but the next day got a migraine which isn't all that unusual for me since I get them, but of course it triggered intense fear that I had an internal brain bleed and something was wrong with my head. I had a panic attack that night and felt tired, but otherwise alright. Ever since then my head has felt off though and I'm pretty sure it's because I'm still so anxious about
having an internal bleeding problem from getting hit. For the past two days I've had a sore scalp right on the upper back center of my head and it hurts when I touch it or move my hair. I also feel a little off balance and am very tired. I just feel off or weird or something. I've had all these feelings before I think, but I don't remember them all being together. My palpitations are still acting up so that certainly isn't helping the situation any either
I don't want to go to the ER if I don't have to and I just had an MRI and MRA about
a year or two ago and my neuro said I was perfectly fine and I also called my family doctor the night after I got hit in the head and the nurse said that I shouldn't worry about
it. I also forgot to mention that the CRNP at the school I work at gave me a complete neuro test on Thursday and she said I passed with flying colors. Could all these symptoms just be from stress and anxiety? I've had a really hard time this month I feel like and I'm getting down and frustrated. I'm so sick and tired of worrying all the time over things that other people wouldn't think twice about
!! Any help would be great. Thank you!
