Hi and welcome!
I think that it would be best to consult with your doctor regarding any med changes...it is hard for us to advise you as we are not medical professionals....and what may work for one person, may not for another.
What have you tried therapy-wise for treating the intrusive thoughts? CBT, DBT, ERP and hypnsosis are all used to treat OCD/anxiety and others problems within the anxiety spectrum.
If you haven't already, I can highly recommend looking into it. Therapy can help you to gain the tools needed to deal with these kind of symptoms, and be free from this troubling problem.
