Hi to all, haven't been checking in much of late but I just wanted to say
THANKS especially to Kitt, Hibee & ScardyCat and to other members who gave me support when I needed it. I found this site while looking for a therapist of some sort, at my lowest point when I thought I had lost all control.
This site is such a fantastic resource for us freaks :0
nice to give / receive advice and support from others who know and understand...and, one or all of you guys are always there when people need to talk...
I was good, then bad again, better, then worse, but being on here has helped me tremendously. Last week I was so sick of feeling anxious, pretty much all the time.. I followed one of SC links to a CBT course which I downloaded and have really changed the way I look at things now. Such an improvement in the way I feel and think in just a few days. I would recommend CBT and mindfulness to anyone with anxiety. When I first read the material I wave of emotion came over me as I could relate to the content so much, and on some level I knew I had found the stuff to get me over this well and truly...so thanks SC, you probably mentioned CBT about
50 million times before I went and had a look! Now I know why..
