Hello Buttercup and welcome,I understand anxiety so very well and I know also that Anxiety and ADHD go hand in hand. Let me see if I can help you with some ideas on how to reduce your anxiety.
A particular type of talk therapy called cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) is often used. In CBT, a person learns new ways to think and act in situations that can cause anxiety, and to manage and deal with stress. The therapist provides support and guidance and teaches new coping skills, such as relaxation techniques or breathing exercises. Sometimes, but not always, medication is used as part of the treatment for anxiety.
Many of our members have done well using the online version of CBT if they are unable to find a CBT therapist. I am going to post the link for this free program for you.

I too struggle with fear of leaving my safe place, my home, right now. You are truly doing well if you are making it to the gym even thow you feel the need to rush home when you complete your routine. Keep on pushing yourself by taking short trips - to the park, to the store and try to do this daily. Think positive thoughts leaving no room for failure that you just cannot do this.
I also practice breathing teqniques and progressive muscle relaxation. Both breathing and muscle relaxation have really made a difference for me.
Coming here and talking with us is another great way to reduce anxiety as sharing your problems helps you let out your feelings. I hope you continue to talk with us and please know we understand how you feel.
Kindly,
Kitt
