Anxiety certainly can cause sleep problems, and these certainly sound familiar.
However, the first step is to always get a check-up with your doctor to rule out any illness or physical cause to your symptoms.
That said, I do remember having these issues when my anxiety was at its highest. Lowering your overall stress levels with meditation, breathing and relaxation exercises should help.
Try practicing these (Resource Guide) before bed for at least ten minutes. Stopping all stimulating activities and having a cup of warm soothing tea (decaf!) or milk also facilitates restful sleep.
