Until you go for your appointment, try to put any thoughts of this out of your head. You can't control, change of make the situation any better through worrying about it...in fact, you can only make it worse for yourself.
It is what it is, and you will find out on Friday. I know that this advice seems simple and not helpful in any way...but that is just it, it is simply not something that you can fix right here an now. When your brain tries to go into panic mode about it, repeat to yourself "it is not time to worry about that now, I will find out what is happening on Friday."
This takes the burden of worry from you, and puts it on your doctor...where it should be.
Stay away from google searching and hang in there until Friday by staying distracted and consciously putting the worry on hold for now.
