Just a note, cleaning for a good period of time (normal stuff, not cleaning the same window over and over) seems to have a just as beneficial an effect for me as working out.
I fortunately do not have the OCD type behaviors of cleaning repeatedly or to excess (according to me of course). I just spent probably 3 hours doing laundry vacuuming cleaning bathrooms straightening up and so forth. Not only does it help get my mind of worries but it does something productive that I can see and appreciate.
If you can clean and just stay in the moment of cleaning and not think about the past or the present, it may help. It releases energy, focuses the mind on something other than anxiety and results in a feeling of accomplishment.
However, I have done the same activities with resentment about why my adult kids can't do these things (welcome to the club on that I suppose) and it results in being a negative experience and I get pissed. Instead forget it and let go and just do the activity and forget all that other stuff.
Try and stay active. You can enjoy cleaning or anything else. I figure we all have to clean so we may as well get a workout doing it and enjoy it.
