Hi axsca and welcome.
I am sorry to hear that you have had a reoccurance of your anxiety symptoms recently.:( It is not unusual though for anxiety to ebb and flow. Even after having a nice long reprieve from it, the anxiety switch can get flipped for whatever reason...and we feel like we are back at square one.
The good news however, is that since you got through it before, you can do so again.:) You learned some skills that helped you to get out of that scary place you were in a year ago.
One of the things that helped was knowing that you were not given the proper treatment to help your situation...yet you still got to a place of being better... this is great and can be done again.
You sound as if you would do really well with self-help. We have some great ideas to get started with in our Resource Guide. There are links there that teach breathing and relaxation exercises that are amazingly powerful anti-anxiety and panic tools! Give them a try. I can also recommend some books if you are interested.:)
Keep posting with us as well. It is helpful to talk to others who understand what you are going through. Anxiety can be quite isolating, but you are among friends now.:) We will be here to listen and support!
Talk to you soon,
S.C.
