Ok my anxiety is sky high because I feel sick and I think its something serious /terminal and going to instantly kill me!!
Symptoms : post nasal drip, very hot feeling with no fever, weak, head pressure / pains / headache, jaw pain, everything looks reddish, tird feeling eyes and sweating cold feet ... also a pain in my stomach unde left rib cage ...does this sound serious!?????? I'm very scared .. yesterday I felt terrific! Woke up not sick at all!!! Until about 7:00 that night!!! What if my body is filled with deadly bacteria??? Or a rare disease/virus is in my body!??!!? Brain infection!!?? I'm totally scared / anxious .. giving myself mini panic attacks!!

Yeah I get like that too, I'm still getting over a cold/ear infection and my energy is very low, so I suppose that I have cancer or some sort of disease. Knowing that your thoughts are nonsensical and not acting on them helps but does not necessarily make them go away.

I am stopping my buspar meds also because I think they are contributing to the lack of energy (see soon to be new thread)

I'm currently on buspar also ... I'm scared I'm justo going to fall out & die, go into cardiac arrest, have a seizure / aneurysm, it die in my sleep!!

Yes, being sick is a challenge for those of us with health anxiety for sure!

Try to remember that everyone gets sick and you will soon be on your way to feeling better.

I know it is hard not to let the catastrophic thinking get to you, so try using a positive calming mantra that will help you to keep the fears at bay.

Repeat something like...

"It is normal to be sick sometimes, and this is nothing more than a run-of-the-mill illness that I will soon be over."

Fatigue is a common side effect of Buspar...and add that to any lack of energy from being sick, and it would be suprising if you weren't tired! Just give yourself a few days to get back into your full schedule, and try to take it easy for awhile:)

Yes, I have a low pain tolerance, my head is hurting and I just wanna cry!!!! I'm worried its a brain tumor / infection / aneurysm!! Plus my menstrual cycle isn't helping!!!!!! :( should I go to the ER!????? I'm so sleepy & could easily fall asleep but I'm afraid of never waking up or waking up to some type of horrible life threatening symptoms!!!!!! :(.

Anxiety Freak,

Whenever I read a post by you my heart just breaks. I remember s clearly being at that exact same point. I wish there was something I could just say and break the cycle. Just know that it does get better. That is coming from someone who was there. I am sorry.
