Constant Panic

Sixteen years is a long time to deal with A/P. I am so sorry for what you are going through. I imagine that you often feel exhausted and defeated by this disorder.

However, there is always hope! You mentioned medication...do the 'other things' that you mention include any self-help techniques/work or therapy?

I ask just to get a broader understanding of your history, and to encourage you to consider it...or to repeat the treatments because they have been so helpful to me! I actually have gone through CBT 2x as well as done a lot of self-help work.

As frustrating as it may seem...repeating/re-visiting treatment is important as you never know when something is going to 'click' for you. I have heard many stories of A/P sufferers that had successful recovery efforts after repeating some technique that had previously failed.

We are constantly changing...so to, our needs and what we respond to!

I encourage you to keep trying...keep on seeking the thing that is going to help you turn the corner and make strides toward feeling better.:)
