Two Drs. Appointments this week

I am in panic mode as I see the Dermatologist today to find out what is causing all the lesions that keep breaking out since I started Chemo as the Oncologist does not know.............so it is a long trip uptown and I know this will involve biopsies.

Tomorrow I see the oncologist to decide what meds to continue on for my chemo as I have 7 more rounds to go and then the testing to see if the cancer is all gone - or at least under control.

I feel tethered to this disease but I know that a large part of feel that way is due to my anxiety problems.

Prayers for me for the next couple of days.

I'm so very sorry to hear what you're going through. It's bad enough dealing with anxiety but also having to fight cancer is far more than I can imagine. You have every reason to be in a panic mode. I sure wish that I had the magic words that could help you get through this. You're in my thoughts and I do wish you a successful outcome. Where there's life, there's hope.

I wish you the best of luck with the appointment. As Michael in NY has said, having to fight both cancer and anxiety sounds exhausting. Please let us know what happens so we can be here to support you.

Hello to all! I made it through the appointment however the Dr. Had never seen this type of outbreak of the skin. He stated that it is not my usual actinic kerotosis as I have 100s of these new sores on my legs and arms.

The Dr. Did biopsy two lesions and hopefully will have some input into what is causing the problem.

Tomorrow off to the oncologist!
