You have received some great advice by DW. I just wanted to welcome you and encourage you that things can get better!
Like DW said, there are self-help breathting techniques...in fact we have some great links to these and progressive relaxation exercises in our Resource Guide (main page here, 1st post) These are both very effective in stress/symptom reduction!
Have you ever considered therapy as part of your treatment? Many of us here, myself included have benefitted from it. CBT, DBT, Mindfullness and EMDR are just a few that could prove helpful to you.
