New anxiety felt, help

Hello there I posted a topic a few days ago about my tiredness and everyday worry, but there was one person who posted that brought more anxiety to me...scaredy you know what I am talking about...I really like this site because we all have have gone through this anxiety and we understand each other...but I guess my problem is that I googlr everything and I believe everything and that post really brought my anxiety to the max....any thoughts?

Hi I'm new to this.. But I understand what u r saying I do the same thing... Since I have had all these weird symptoms I google EVERYTHING and yes it makes me more worried. My advice to u is try doing something that relaxes you, and get ur mind off the worry.

cln, I think I know what post you're referring to (though we might not be talking about the same thing). I wouldn't pay attention to what that person said--you can ignore posts by that user, which is what I did because I believe that person to be an internet "troll." www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=troll

I also reported it to the admin of the site.

I am so sorry that this has heightened your anxiety! I did not report the user, since they did not really break any rules as such...and it is better sometimes to simply ignore such ridiculous responses.

Since this is a public forum, we get the occasional, nutty responses from people...but like you said, the good far out weighs the bad!!!

So as Avrielle mentioned, just ignore that member, and you will not see any further posts from him/her.

Again I am sorry...and I can 100%, without a doubt tell you that you have nothing to worry about concerning the subject of that response to your post. Just keep doing what you are doing in terms of taking care of yourself, and you are going to be fine!:)

Thank u all so much, scaredy I know it sounds ridiculous to even believe it, but I have been so anxious this week, im so afraid I might lose control, get sick...i know I have to continue my exercises and therapy...thank u from my heart

Your reaction was not ridiculous...I totally get it...we have all been there! When anxiety is at a high level, some pretty crazy things can spook us, and I have had my share of unlikely fears!

What was ridiculous was the suggestion made by the responder to your original post. Hopefully when he/she finds that they are not getting a rise out of us...they will get bored and move on!

I seen which post your talking about & don't give yourself such a hard time for feeling more anxious because I would be too! I think we pay closer attention to ourselves and the way we feel &worry about it that when someone says something such as their response to your post we start to question ourselves. At least I do. If someone out of the blue asks me If. "I'm okay? " I get so anxious thinking they notice something abnormal about me. Like. SC and others said, ignore it! You are completely fine and the feelings you are having are common anxiety feelings :)

I guess I had not felt this anxious in a long time, I am anxious about christmas so much, the presents, seeing my brother who i havent seen in months, getting my husband a present and me being sick with the flu...i used to enjoy holidays so much and now im so worried and afraid..
