Celexa?? Anyone ever take it???

I've been put on Celexa. I have only ever taken Zoloft and had horrible side effects and it didn't do much. I am scared of taking new pills, Im just wondering if anyone has taken it, or have any opinions on it.

I decided to stick with the Zoloft because that is something I took for a long time, even with the side effects. I have so many problems...cant even take a different drug because my anxiety interferes with it.

I took celexa for a very short time. about 2 maybe 3 months. My mom and I both took it at the same time.

We both started out with 1/4 tablet. And I tell you what I had the best/worst side effects from that drug.

I gained 18-20 lbs while on it. Wanna talk about turning into an addict? Well we did. For chocolate. I am talking waking up in the middle of the night and finding an open store to buy chocolate. It was horrible but oh so yummy..lol

The bad part was it worked to well. I totally didn't give a rats tail about anything. Not a darn thing effected me. Got in my way while I was driving. I'd get in your way and push ya off the road, if I could. Flat outright didn't care.

Laughed tons and felt great. But those 2 side effects doc took us off the pills. I was happy and for once enjoying life. But it wasn't safe for myself, family, or anyone who got in my way.

Though those side effects were never reported. And were 'rare' as the doc said. Very rare.
