So, I took the potassium chloride like my doc wanted the 10 meq's, I took them for a week, messed my stomach up greatly during that time even though I ate, after 1 week my potassium went from 3.0 to 4.1 but I did have about 3 banana's during that time, so the doc told me to stop, but also because I'm slightly anemic to start a women's multivitamin, so I do, after about two days from this I start to get slight leg cramps, so I try not to think about it, but the next day they were still there, and I thought okay, I have too much potassium and I get scared, I go back to the doc on wednesday the 20th of this month, and my potassium is at 3.7, still in normal range and doc said don't worry about the leg cramps, now today, I noticed they were really bad, I couldn't get them to stop, it's all day, small muscle spasm's in my calves and feet, and sometimes a lil bit hard, but not a full blown bad charlie horse, but enough to notice, so this morning I totally freak out, I call my doctors nurse and she asks my doc and calls me right back, the doc said, "stretch your legs, you need time to get used to the potassium probably", "don't worry about it, you aren't getting too much potassium, and you aren't too low". That help's me calm down a bit, but now I'm worried again, anyone else know anything about this? I refuse to google any of it, I know I'll end up in the E.R. if I do.
