New here,have GAD, depression

Hello, very glad I found this forum.
I was diagnosed with GAD years ago, my dr
just a few days ago changed my medicine
so I'm hoping this one helps some. The one
I was on before just stopped working after so
many years. One thing I got into doing also helps
I just started doing jigsaw puzzles in my spare
time. They really help me focus on something
else other than my anxieties, depression, or pain.
Plus I feel like I've accomplished something.
My husband and I spray them and put them
in frames and hang them up. I hope this helps someone else too.

We are glad that you found the forum too!

I am sorry to hear that your medication fizzled out on you, but glad to see you getting together with your doctor on finding something else that will help. I hope that it works out very well for you as you get used to something new!

Engaging in an enjoyable and distracting hobby is a great way of coping, so good job on finding an activity that helps you get your mind off of your worries.:)

I hope that you will find much understanding and support here as you correspond with us! We look forward to getting to know you better so post often!

I would love to do that. Things are so expensive
