So, I found this board after finding healingwell searching for answers about possible cardiac problems and introduced myself saying I didn't have anxiety issues anymore, but was concerned for my husband.
I went to the doctor today (at the request of said hubby) because he thought I was have heart problems.
Guess who just got put back on nerve medicine?
*shakes shiny new bottle of Celexa*
APPARENTLY my sweating/dizzy/fainting/vomiting episodes could be panic attacks which just present much differently than his. I guess if you bottle it up and decide you're fine it can make you physically ill? maybe? I dunno...
There are also some other problems - tubes and tubes of blood gone to the lab, more tests in coming days/weeks. The other problems they're investigating are pretty scary in themselves and could be the root cause of the anxiety.
I patiently explained to the doctor that I had been through depression/anxiety issues in the past and believed that I was totes fine now. She patiently smiled and said, "Well, I disagree."
So, here I am very humbled and a bit embarrassed.
I suffer from anxiety & panic attacks.
My husband suffers from social anxiety, generalized anxiety and much different-than-my-own panic attacks.
