My suggestion is to talk with a doctor and ask for a sleep study. That's how they diagnose sleep apnea. My other half has SAD and severe sleep apnea. He can't get sleep to recharge his brain and body because he wakes up all night long. He is in rough condition by the time morning arrives to face the day. Every day. It's a terrible catch-22. He has spent the last 2 years, trying CPAP machines, masks, and air pressures. There is unfortunately no magic bullet. After each sleep study, his doctor tweaks something, he runs with it for 2-3 months, and then they re-assess.
Please get help from a doctor who works with sleep disorders. You never know - it could be something easy to fix.
