I'm working through another physical anxiety/panic attack tonight. It is no where near the intensity of my last one (thank goodness), but it is still happening. :(
I am not sure what brought this one on. I'm thinking that it was triggered by me being tired and half closing my eyes when sitting in the dark with the baby. My brain was t able to process what it was seeing and therefore I got a HOT shooting sensation in my chest to my arms and the. I became instantly nauseous. THEN the "what it's" started. I quickly was able to squelch 85% of the thoughts/questions, but the physical symptoms rapidly increased!!! :/
I got up with the baby and went into our bedroom where hubby was sleeping and fed her in there while doing my counting, distracting thoughts and positive affirmations.
As of now almost two hours later, I'm feeling slightly better, but not through it yet. The nausea is almost too much to handle again
Going to try and sleep now.
