What is happening I was sitting there talking to my sister and all of a sudden my eye vision started going in and out and like I forgot everything that we were talking about felt like I was gonna puke and got all shaky I laid down and it still is like that what do I do?? Help

Sounds like a panic attack to me. I had one very similar to that a few weeks ago. Take some deep breaths and let them out slowly. Do you have a brown paper lunch bag? If so, you can try breathing in and out of the bag, it always helps me. Hope you are feeling a little better now...

Thank you I'm feeling Lil bit better my head still feels weird and my heart is still racing my chest still burns I hate this feeling wish these would just stop this but I get this but not the eye thing at least once a day it horrible thanks again sylknmyst

Thank you it was this weird white vision instead of black and flashing it is crazy what our body does

I am sorry to hear about the panic attack! Yes it's not so much our bodies but rather our minds using our body to scare us. It sucks I know but hang in there! When the bad part is over you will be able to relax

I've had the white vision thing before, too. It IS scary! But, it's mostly just that - fear.

You'll learn to control these attacks, it takes time, though.

Bet you didnt know so many people loved you, A nice thing to know,
You could try Benedryl until you can get a prescription, I take 1 or 2
at bedtime every night and it will let you get some rest, also I remember
that ER told you you had an eustation tube problem, i have that chronically
and the benadryl has make it mostly go away. Peace

Have you ever had migraines? The vision disturbance that you described sounded similar to a migraine aura.

Migraines can present with or without the headaches.

Other symptoms can include:

sensitivity to light and/or sound
mental confusion
speech issues
nausea

Migraines can cause panic in some people because of the severity of the symptoms and auras. If this is followed by a headache, or happens again...you might want to ask your doctor about treatment options for migraines.

This is just a guess and a suggestion...you could just be dealing with anxiety as well...but it is good to be informed of all the possibilities.

I hope that you are feeling better very soon...do your breathing and relaxation exercises as S.M. suggested!

I have visual migraines and some visual disturbances too. It adds up to my health anxiety. My neck feels stiff and my head heavy. I'll also have aches on the back my neck or the base of my skull together with these visual stuffs. There are moments when I'm having a good time and later they'll just come out from nowhere. Hard to tell if stress/anxiety or symptoms came first. What I learned is that they come and go, so it's better to dwell on those times when you don't have them feeling well and be thankful for it. Before I'll get frustrated and depressed over these things for a long period of time which only makes me feel more miserable. Right now I'm still practicing on putting all my worries aside and not wasting my time thinking I'm seriously sick. Having anxiety like us really can do stuffs to our body even if we feel completely normal in a day.

SC I have had migranes for the longest time I believe ever sense I was put on BC.. After my vision did that it was like my brain went blank and the nausea came and the shakiness.. When I feel my head starting to feel weird and my right arms goes numb along with my head I know its anxiety but its hard sometimes to tell myself its only anxiety it'll be ok :'( im hoping they don't get too bad before Wednesday so I can get some medication and therapy... You guys have not clue on how thankful I am that I started using this page because you ALL have helped me ALOT!JA I didn't have any pain other than my back and the vision quit for a few seconds then did it again im hoping I can over come this soon.. Thanks again

Kortnie, you need to start a new thread for you girls, I have read on here many times that our women
suspect hormone fluctuations have driven their anxiety, I know they would love to give you input on this.
