SoulNHealingHey Sweetie, I have a friend who will be 73 this year; has 5 wonderful adult children - only one of her children is married and my friend does not have a single grandchild. She lost her husband 16 years ago and lives alone in a big house but I promise you she fought to recover from the loss of her husband.
I was married, had 3 children and divorced by the time I was 24 and yes I took my 3 children and went out on my own, got a job, went to nurse's training and never looked back. Did I worry about the future - big time I did until I realized anticipatory anxiety was making me a basket case. I never felt I was good enough..........but I am and so are you.
One step at a time. Think about what you would really like to be doing and if opportunities arise at work, write down the pros and cons and make up your mind if you can handle the challenge and go for it.
What is the worse thing that can happen? You will survive
