I used to. The body has to work hard to digest, causing all sorts of sensations that can be especially noted to anxious individuals...because we are super sensative to these types of things already.
Heart rate increases, body temperature can go either up or down.(I have experienced both) BGL (blood glucose level) rises, blood is diverted the digestive organs, ect...that is a whole lot of activity!
Sometimes after a big meal, there is a feeling of fatigue/lethargy. For most people that is relaxing...for an anxious person, it can cause alarm.
So there is a reason for the way that you are feeling. Try telling yourself that the digestive process is normal and healthy...and if you aren't feeling well after eating, that this is just another one of anxiety's tricks.
