Mom mom is stressing me out&Iam truely tired of it&I was having a peaceful day until she got off,and come texting me&calling me asking me did I work today&I was in bathroom&sent a reply back of no Iam off. And she texts back K&then I get anothwr text talking about how come you difn't answer your phone then&Iam thinking howcome you just didn't keep it at K. Iam a 28year old grown woman¬ a kid I don't know why she hasn't got that understanding yet,and my anxiety has got up a bit now because I have a small anger problem too&I be scared of how bad I might go offf. And my anxiety sets in crazy but makes me stop&think&focus on nothing but trying to stay calm&calm all the way back down,but Iam just tired and no way do I desire to fuss with anybody. Already stress enough&Iam trying to heal in everyway&do my best to stay kind but it gets extra hard at times most of when you always have some one testing you.

Do you live with your mom Soul? If so, then you can kind of expect a closer communication...and yes, at times nagging from your mom.

My oldest daughter is 23...an adult, but she lives with us...and as such, at times, I am 'on her' about certain things. There is a certain accountability that goes along with living together after all.

However, if you do not live with or depend on your mom financially in anyway...then you can certainly expect to have the total level of privacy/autonomy that you want. You can set the boundaries wherever you need or wish to.

Try to keep everything in perspective either way...

When my kids are driving me crazy...I try to remember that one day they will be out of the house, and things are going to be quite lonely around here.

I also see my mom getting very forgetful, and it worries me. It breaks my heart to see her getting older, and I dread the day that she no longer recognizes me or her grandkids...

I guess what I mean to say, is that even though they make us nuts at times...we always need to forgive and cherish our family.:)

I get that with my mom to. I mean I'm only 17 but I just think that she just wants to keep you busy so anxiety won't take over cause my mom believes too that keeping busy will help with anxiety. But I know what your saying my mom does the exact same thing and asks what have I done today what I will do and what I'm doing and if I say nothing then she gets aggravated because I'm doing nothing even though I just say it to get her off my back. She wants the best for me and I believe your mom does too but I hear you it gets annoying.

Well no&yes @SC we both stay with a family friend&I understand the forgiving part&inspite of,trust me I do it everyday but I just get tired of the nosy nag treat me like Iam 12years old. Respect go both ways not just one&I don't need are want the stress,it's to much and Iam at a breaking point Iam trying to get better&I don't need to be brought down anymore lower. The woman can be mean,spiteful&hateful&say evil things and I love her dearly but have a right to respect too.


Best of luck to you jocipher and yes it can be real hard most of all when one is trying to keep the peace&the other stay breaking it
