I don't have a lot of reassurance to offer about your particular symptoms.
I'll share this with you, though. Most of us have a pledge not to consult Dr. Google with any physical symptoms. That will always return terrible results. There's a perfectly logical reason, too.
I'm a writer. We write about things that are sensational. No one writes an article about someone who had multiple symptoms and it turned out to be easily treatable and nothing at all. Why? No one wants to read it!
Had you noticed the tongue thing before you read about it online? Is it extreme, like your teeth are injuring it or anything?
ALS is the new disease to discuss, because of all of the NFL things that happened last year, so I imagine there's an abundance of articles about it.
I said I had no reassurance about your physical symptoms, but now that I think about it, I may.
I've had episodes of swelling of my feet. This can be kinda common with vacation, too. Did you ride on an airplane? Long car trip? Sitting for extended periods of time is a pretty common cause of swelling.
As far as pain and trembling in your limbs, those can be anxiety symptoms. I've experienced them... honestly, daily at times.
One more thing, one of my best friends' dad had ALS. If memory serves correctly, the symptoms don't progress as quickly as you're describing, typically. (I'm sure there are stories of it out there - remember, sensation.)
Have any of your symptoms improved? For example, has the swelling left your legs and feet?
Have you been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, or have you considered the possibility?
I'm sure your symptoms are very uncomfortable and you're obviously very stressed out about the. I'm glad you're pursuing diagnosis. In the meantime, try to stay calm. Check out the resources page in the first post on this forum for ideas.
We're here to support you along the way!
Hugs!
