Happy Labor Day to those who observe it...otherwise...Happy Regular Day to everyone!

Since it is a day off here...my family and I are headed to the coast for a big hike, lobster rolls (yes, here in CA...found a place that has them!) and some beach time.

I willl talk to you guys this evening or tomorrow morning.:)

Ooooh, enjoy!!

I just moved out of Plymouth, MA. And other than Thanksgiving in Plymouth (if you can just imagine!), this is one of the areas biggest holidays. Living on the beach (we did), we also are (were) close to many seafood joints (fancy ones, as well as "shacks"). And this is "The Lobster Holiday" as it's the end of summer. All our seafood would be caught fresh so super yum yum!

Sounds like a blast. Have fun!

Larry...what am I going to do with you? Lol!;p

We had a great time! The kids complained a bit on the hike...oh did I foget to mention that it was 7 miles? Silly me;p

I plied them with the promise of lobster though, and it worked...we did it in 3 1/2 hrs.

My sister and I did it in 2 hrs a few weeks ago...but we are both pretty conditioned for it...and did fewer stops!

Yep, margaritas (virgin strawberry daquari for the little one) and lobster rolls was just the ticket for weary hikers!

It was a great day out with the family after the whining of the death march stopped! ;p ;p ;p

We saw amazing redwood forests, wildlife...including finding a cute little salamander under a log, and breathed lots of fresh air.

I hope you all had a great day as well!

Will hike with you any day SC, as long as we stop for margheritas and lobsters doesn't matter how many miles! Ha, glad to hear you had a nice time!
