Derealization

First off i want to thank everyone on this forum. What i am learning is helping me a lot. I don't know where I would be if it wasn't for you guys. I was wondering if anyone has had this issue before. I feel like sometimes things just don't feel real. And if you have how do you ground yourself? It's not constant so I don't know what I'm doing to get my mind out of it but any info would be great.

I get it a lot. And yes! Bless everyone on here. It's like my second home. I don't want to offend you and if I do I'm sorry it's not my intention. I'm a very spiritual person, not to be confused with religious. I believe in all planes and realms. I have a very mixed background. I have Christian, Catholics, and those who did magik. I've read a lot my grandmas friends were actual gypsies. So I've been around a lot. When I start to get that uneasy feeling and its really odd and doesn't feel real I know I need to be cleansed. I have been near many psychics and healers and before I speak to them they can feel the negative energy surrounding me. I probably sound crazy. I am and I don't mind. But like now I have one battling with me and I have been doing everything I can to get rid of it.

I wish I had more advice. I'm struggling to battle my demons. It's hard when there's good and bad forces surrounding us. Luckily I live in a place where there's many gypsies and other new age places to go.

If that's terrible advice I'm sorry. Or maybe you can pray for it to leave you.

If I can clear my mind I have many stones I use to cast whatever is bothering me to it and then I take it out and bury it to rid it of whatever attached to it.

I get this occasionally, and yes, the more you can accept/ignore it, the less it will have an affect on you.

It is a harmless symptom, and some breathing and relaxation exercises could help you to decompress and feel more centered.

Another trick is to ask yourself key questions to keep you in the present and keep things feeling real. You can ask yourself:

What sounds do I hear right now?
What do I see that is of interest?
Are there any smells around...good or bad?
What is the temperature, do I feel hot, cold or just comfortable.

These may seem silly, but they serve the purpose of pulling you back from the derealization feelings.
