My anxiety was acting up today n I took an Ativan but now my arm n chest hurts its a new feeling jw I
f anyone else ever felt the same

Anxiety symptoms can change and morph. Just as you get accustomed to one, it seems another one can pop up.:(

I have had the chest pains, and the arm aches/heavyness. Sometimes all it takes is some gentle stretching/PMR (progressive muscle relaxation) and a good session of breathing exercises to knock this symptom out.

Give it a try and see if it helps. We have really good instructions for these coping skills in our Resources.

Ty SC I definitely will try it it just gets scary but, my hospitals bills r to much to keep going in

If you've got hospital bills stacking up, I bet you've had a thorough check of your heart!

I do have those symptoms, sometimes. The chest pains and arm issues are some I've been dealing with a LOT lately.

Hi,

That's one good thing about England, the [NHS] free hospital care. God knows what situation I would be in if I had to pay as I'm always in and out of work due to my anxiety and depression.

Do you ever get 'Twitching' in your limbs with this Pain? I ask as I get similar symptoms as you.

I saw today on TV a woman named Carol Alt, she had a doctor on with her, they were explaining how
deep breathing could change the PH in the body in just a few breaths, Im sorry I didnt get the whole
story but it was on Fox about 12-1pm. He actually changed a glass of acid to netural by breathing into
the liquid. Peace
