So I have written a lot on here about a psychiatrist I saw early this year once or twice who said some really insulting things and acted really unprofessional (asked family member if I had an intellectual disability when I don't, asked other irrelevant questions, and even gave me the name of another patient and put another's patients information on a form of mine). Well, I went to school today and when I came home a family member told me they had gone to see their GP today (we have the same GP). For some reason the topic of my experience with the psychiatrist came up (I don't mind my family member asking questions about it- it doesn't bother me) and the GP said to my family member, "the psychiatrist doesn't want to see her anymore...." This makes no sense because I called the office of the psychiatrist in the spring and told them I didn't want to be a client anymore, so I have no idea why they are still saying things after the fact. I've already complained to the organization that this psychiatrist works for, but they keep putting things that make no sense in my health records, when i'm not even a client! This psychiatrist has caused me so much grief, and continues to even though I plain refused to see them after all of the things they said! Another thing they did was put in my health records a few months ago that I did "not participate" when I did not want to participate in cooking classes that had nothing to do with my mental health, when I was in no way obligated to do that. Like I said, I wrote to the organization they work for but they did nothing, so I decided that I'm going to complain to a bigger organization about this, because this person should not be working in mental health. This upsets me so much- I spent months going over the things they said to me, thinking they were true and wishing I wasn't even alive at times because my experience was so bad and nobody would listen to me/I had no help. I am now waiting to see another psychiatrist, but this is really bothering me.
