Display,
Starting your day off with anxiety is never easy. It
essentially sets you up for a struggle, because anxiety tends to beget more
anxiety. When you wake up with anxiety, you often find that your stresses are
all you can focus on, and every little thing that occurs throughout the day
only adds to it.
A large number of us with anxiety wake up with the
same feeling you do. I experienced this
to the point that I ended up taking early retirement, however, the anxiety
problem did not go away.
Generally sleeping should make it a bit easier to cope
with anxiety, and our anxiety should instead show up throughout the day.
Stopping morning anxiety is complex, because ideally
we need to address the cause of our anxiety and how it affects us. A big part
of that is trying our best to figure out why we have anxiety. If we are waking
up anxious because we fear anxiety, for example, then we need to be aware of
this and come to terms with it so that we can motivate ourselves to make
changes. If we fear anxiety because we dislike our job, then we are challenged to
find ways to make our jobs a less stressful place.
I can imagine how boring and stress provoking it
would be to have nothing more to do than practice ECEL all day.
I agree, ask for more assignments but do not let yourself
get overwhelmed with too much to do either.
And be careful that you do not come across as so bored that someone decides your job could be absorb by other employees.
Brainstorm what other purposes you could put your skills to work to help the business.
Thinking of you and hope you can smile after reading more of my hogwash
