...but it is nice to have the help when you need it!
My husband is type 1 diabetic. He takes a 24 hr insulin shot, and that is all he needs on a lot of days.
However, if his meal plans get off schedule/out of whack, he is stressed, or just for no reason at times, he will need an addtional 'bolus shot' of insulin to get his blood sugar back to where it needs to be.
He prefers not to have to do this, but sometimes it is necessary.
I don't see medicating for anxiety as being any different at all. I would encourage you to look at it this way as well.
If you have exhausted your coping skills, and still need something to manage your anxiety, then I think you can feel just fine about that.:)
