Well, despite my best efforts to "get through" my anxiety, I found myself again at the doctors today, in tears again, feeling very weepy these days, and needing help, my doctor had a long chat with me and we decided to increase my dose of venlafaxine to 150mg, so I've started that today and will see how things go, I find that venlafaxine does help me, and two years ago it literally dragged me from the depths of hell, so I'm grateful

Hi Sonja,

I think that feeling good has more to do with managing the anxiety than 'getting through' it

It may be something that sticks around for awhile, and maybe we can't change that fact at this time...we can learn to deal with it in ways that can help us feel the best we possibly can.

I know that you will do really well...great job on talking pro-actively with your doctor. I hope that this change brings the help that you need to feel better.
