If you're going to use the tea bags, it needs to be regular ole
black tea, like plain Lipton tea.
Nothing herbal, nothing decaffeinated, nothing flavoured, just plain ole black tea.My right eye has (some weird condition with a long name) and I have bumps underneath it, and it can not only affect my vision, but swell to the point where the lids are almost shut. Oh, and it hurts.
I used warm compresses (not harsh face cloth material, so wrap it in something soft), and leave it be. Lay back, "listen" to TV or music, but leave that/those compresses (whether the black tea bags Larry and I are talking about, or warm water compresses), and leave 'em alone. At least 20 minutes, no touching!
Don't keep adjusting them, picking them up, moving them. The heat gets released each time you do that.
Put those suckers on those puppies and relax.
It takes way more than once, however. There's no miracle cure (at least none that I've discovered.....if I do, I'll market it and split the proceeds with Larry and you, okay?).
My doctor had me do this,....are you ready? .........several times a day for several days in a row! It's not a single quickie.
Days my dear, several days!
Love,
M.
