Do you feel like your anxiety comes in cycles? You can be doing good for some time and then it comes back…And when you are in the cycle you feel like it is never going to end? Im in a cycle now and every morning Ive been waking up earlier than usual - thirsty and nauseous. Dry heaving and just want to puke. As the day progresses Im okay. Thank God I'm off from work until Thursday. Hate hate you anxiety!!

Definitely!! Anxiety is at its best in the mornings. That's when mine is the worst... shakiness, headaches, nauseas, head filled with air, don't want to get out of bed.. I actually feel my best at night. I was doing so good for the past 2 weeks then yesterday and today anxiety came out of nowhere for no reason, Ive been so calm, shakiness trembling heart racing feeling sick no energy, it takes me back to square one all over again. That's why I'm thinking about
going back on my anti depressant that I've been off of since April just to stay feeling steady. Anxiety is like a roller coaster you're up and down up and down. When I'm feeling good I know it's not going to last forever so I really don't feel my best, it's sad! HATE anxiety!!!!!!!! I've been dealing with this since I was 15, I'm now 26. Ive had my good times and bad times. good months and good years, but for the past 3-4 years it's been like an ongoing never ending thing for me with not much relief at all. Ive had every test done, Ive seen many specialists, been to therapy, and the list goes on, same thing " You're a perfectly healthy young lady, anxiety will do this to you, you have to take your meds." I'm thankful for this forum because everyone around me is clueless when it comes to anxiety, I feel like this is my therapy talking to others who deal with the same thing I deal with, it's horrible. Hope you feel better soon! Maybe someday we will get relief ... forever?!? We can only hope and pray! Im ready for 2014!!! (-: (-:

My anxiety can be nasty in the morning but than it may switch to afternoons for awhile and sometimes it is evenings but I also have depression so I feel it is a combination of which disorder raises it's ugly head.
Be kind to yourself.
Kindly,
Kitt

I know what triggered this cycle..My friend/co-worker was in ICU from strep..I woke up last Saturday morning w white spots on my throat. I panicked. Went to doctor - was tested for strep and was negative. He said to take antibiotics anyway. He gave me 750mg of Levaquin. Two hours after taking it I had shakes, hot flashes…going into panic. *trigger* Then the Sunday morning - I get up to go to the bathroom and feel like Im going to faint. I did. I live alone and when I woke up I was devastated that it happened *trigger*. To top off the week my friend passed away on Xmas eve. I just want to feel better. My stomach hurts, still have nausea, no appetite and dry mouth. I was weaning my self off Zoloft 25mg every other day…I've been taking daily for the past 4 days. Maybe thats the dry mouth? Who the heck knows….
