Hello Jazzyblue and welcome!
I am really sorry to hear of your anxiety, and the issues that it is naturally causing you.
What, may I ask do you take in terms of medication? Is this an anti anxiety, a benzodiazepine or an anti emetic?
I assume that you have talked with your doctor about
these issues since you have an Rx? Have you talked about
other treatment options, such as
therapy?
Your doctor is a good place to start for this, and can give you a referral for this effective type of anxiety treatment!
I went through therapy and felt immense benefits! I had panic issues, and fear of panic, like you mentioned. This is often diagnosed as panic disorder...which can be treated well with a form of therapy known as
CBT.It sounds like you would also benefit from talking about
your social anxiety, and your therapist could help you with those issues as well!
In the meantime, (the process of finding a therpist can take time) check out our
Resources here. I am going to include a link from them for you to try...but there are even more ideas to be found in this post. You can find it on our main page.
