I am sorry that you had such a rough night! Yes, dealing with even a little illness such as a cold coming on can be enough to tip the anxiety scales.
The good news is that you were doing really well...and you can and will get back to that place again.
Take care of yourself physically and mentally...lots of rest, fluids, good nutrition, coping skills, ect...
I had a startling wake up the other morning...out of the blue...heart racing, panicky feeling, ect...
I got it under control immediately, but I had no 'reason' to wake up this way, and like I said, it was seemingly out of the blue...this just happens at times.
I hope that you have a peaceful day, and no more issues. Keep us posted and let us support you during this time, okay?
