Good Morning,I have the sweetest great niece who started college this fall. She flunked a class and she is devastated. You are not alone in fearing you will not do well. When we imagine the worst possible outcome for our choices, this creates that pit-in-the-stomach feeling, which then cycles in our head, until suddenly it seems like our whole world is falling apart.
You have to get over the voice that says, “There’s no point in even trying that.”
Accept that you are stronger than you think; study for one thing at a time and stay on topic. Set up a schedule with a time frame: "I will study biology tonight for 2 hours taking a 10 minute break for each hour I study."
When your test day arrives don't try to cram right before the test and do not listen to other students theories on how they understood the material. Trust yourself and tune out the buzz in the back ground.
Big breath and remember you don't have to be number 1 in your class, you just need to learn the materials and past the tests.
Kindly,
Kitt
