Is any body taking Seroquel for anxiety. If you are do you get very tired from it and your head feels very heavy. Its all so a psycotic drug. I probably did not spell that right. What side effects do you get from it? Misty.

Seroquel is an a-typical anti-psychotic drug. It is prescibed primarily for schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder and occasionally MDD (major depressive disorder)

If you have not been diagnosed with any of the above, I would question taking this Rx, and discuss this with your doctor.

The side effects can vary, and again, you should discuss this with your prescribing doctor.

Are you on Seroquel or are you checking out the different meds online?  Try not to Google as that often makes things so much worse.

Hi Stkitt and scaredy cat. Yes I am on this drug. My psychiaritrist put me on it. I was on it before when I had anxiety but never new what it was. I was on it 7 or 8 years ago when I had anxiety. It did help me. Just wanted to know if anybody elese was on it and wanted to know what side effects they got from it. Misty.

I was on Seroquel for a short time however, for a working gal, I found it way to sedating.
