a big cry-fest

yesterday i couldn't stop crying at work. i don't know what it was about. all i knew was i couldn't make it through the day like that, so i told them i was sick and went home. i cried on the way home but once i got here that stopped and i felt better.

today i will go to the big boss with a list of all i have to do and ask for some direction in what to do first. then i will try and let the rest go. he may ask me to work overtime. i will probably refuse, on the grounds i have too much else going on in my life - even though that is not true.. i'm not interested in working overtime. 40 hours a week is enough for me.

at least we are not having cold weather today.

by the way, the dentist appointment thing worked out yesterday.

and i feel for you because at my last job there were quite a few days i went home crying (and a few where i didn't make it out of the office before i started crying). it really sounds like you are getting a huge work load, and this can really take a toll after a while. listen to your body!
