Hey guys im new here and wanted to know is my symptoms normal.My symptoms is head pressure,unreal feeling,fear of dieing,pain in temple due to stress,.when i had my first panic attack this was the worse.this my first time getting these symptoms.Bust after my panic i felt so weak.when i woke up the next day my mom took me to the doc.It was all anxiety.but when i was home i started feeling weird like my symptoms is starting.but im scared i need some answers am i dying.because i was not feeling like this before my panic.usually ill feel better in one day.i just wanna go back to normal im only 13.plzzz help.Why i did not feel better yet????The real question is When im gonna feel like myself? :(

OK. Let's address your questions one by one.

Fear you're about to die is probably the prime thought going through your head when you're having a panic attack. I've been there ...... and I suspect many of this forum can back that up.

Pressure in the head ? You, your folks and your doctor need to establish is this your normal headache pattern or something very different. Muscle tension in your shoulders and neck is a major cause of headaches and can also combine with regular 'tension headaches'. Maybe some scans need to be done to establish if there are some internal issues - most likely there isn't but it's best to be dealing with FACTS not maybes.

Anxiety and its flow-on effects panic continue to grow when we start, and continue to, concentrate on what MIGHT be wrong or what may be the worst possible outcome ..... and we start thinking "phantoms" into almost everything we do.

We do not know all the facts of your situation, and can only call on our own experiences. Have your parents ask the questions of your doctor. Some can probably be answered with a straight out no, others may need to be investigated.

I can only stress. Try not to tear yourself up over "what ifs", it will only feed and worsen the anxiety. You and your family need to establish the full facts of what may be wrong with you ..... and what is the true cause.

wombat has advised you well. I do hope you have access to a therapist as that may be the one things that will help you most right now.
