Hello all,

Sorry that I have been scarce (Scarecy Cat?!?) the last two days.

My daughter has had an awful virus...102 + temp for three days in a row...and even after that subsided, she has just been slow to competely feel better.

...and then my husband started to get it, so between trying to get them to full health...and get my hubby ready to go on another business trip (pray the suppliments did the trick and he stays well!) I have been extra busy around my house.

Hope to be back as much as possible from now on...but I am on my own until Thursday...so playing both roles until then, phew!

S'okay...we always have fun girl time.:)

I am not sick...I tend to have a pretty good immune system (knock wood)...

...but I fogot to mention that I tore my calf muscle pretty severely during my Friday night upper division classes.:(

It has been a lot of icing, elevation and using compression bandages.

I had to teach yesterday, so I just 'baby-ed' it.  It can bear weight, but only equally between both legs.  I can't lift or jump off from that foot.:(

Hoping this is not one of those things that takes months to heal!

When I tore the tendon's in my arm, my Dr prescribed me a cream, it's a prescription called Voltaren Cream. I had the pain from Nov till Feb. Once I started using the cream, and I had to use 2 tubes of it, it finally went away. If you don't get relief from the icing, compression, elevation does not work ask your Dr about the cream. I call it my miracle cream. Even my Dr told me to fill the 5 prescriptions she gave me, they're good to have on hand. Hope it heals quickly for you!

SC, I am right here for you my friend and I will make time to cover the forum when I can.  Message in Mod Forum re my hubby.

Make sure your hubby drinks lots of water and eat foods with high Vit C content.
