Disability service dogs for anxiety

Hello all, I'm new here. I grew up with anxiety and panic attacks. When I was 18 I became agoraphobic and didn't leave the house for 3 months and that is what convinced my parents that I needed help. I was diagnosed with a panic disorder and put on medication which stopped the panic attacks but I still suffer from anxiety and anxiety attacks. I recently learned about anxiety service dogs. You must be declared disabled to get one of these dogs. Because anxiety still affects my life so much I could probably be considered disabled even though I can hold down a job. Does anyone else here have a psych dog? How did you go about getting it?

My dog has been labeled a "companion dog" which is how, when we were living in a condo, I got around the "no dogs over 20lbs" rule.

There are things in place for our protection....
