Im having a real bad time today, i cant sleep and need help.
Has anyone else felt like they are going to die?
I was visiting a castle today and had a few drinks and now im freaking out, HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

Hi Everstar,

Every panic attack that I used to have felt like I was dying...or at least going through some catastophic health related event.

Sometimes imbibing can bring on anxiety....although, a lot of times there simply is no reason for feeling panicky...it just goes along with anxiety.

Are you able to do some breathing exercises?

Use your postive mantras...

My favorite has been:

'I am okay, this is just anxiety making me feel this way.'

Keep repeating it as you breath slow and deep.

Let us know how you are doing soon! (when you are feeling calmer, I would love to hear about your castle tour!!)

Thanx cat, im just freaking out as usual, i hate when i cant sleep, it makes me worse.
I went to a castle in dublin today, its meant to be haunted, but i think everything in Ireland is haunted, im kind of spoilt for castles over here, there is 5 of them within a 2 mile radius, if your ever over this way i can be a good tour guide for you, (glad to see your feeling better)

Yes, I have always wanted to go see the castles in Ireland! How lucky you are to have such treasures right around where you live!

One of our other mods Hibee lives in Scotland...and we have decided that if I ever get over there, we will do a proper pub crawl...


Sounds like that could be an epic trip! Haunted castles and pints...yee-haw...I am booking it! ;p

let m know if your coming over this way, we could tour ireland and then hit scotland, there is a famous haunted jail where i live, id love you to see it, id like to go to edinborough too, ive only ever been to glasgow

Well no immediate plans as of now...but I am eventually going to make it over, and when I do, I'll let you know!

I always thought that a trip to Europe would happen when my youngest was off to college...

...but my husband's company has gone international, and it now owned by a Swedish organization.

He has been traveling more and more, so it could be closer than I previously thought!

well, anytime you and your family want to visit, id be glad to show you guys around, i live ten minutes from glendalough monastery, it was built in the 6th century and is the most peaceful place in the world, it would be good medicine for a lot of people here!

Aww...no 'owesies' though...I am just glad you have found benefit from being here! :) I know I have!!

So what is the body of water nearby the monastery (was looking at pics)...looks like a river...and perhaps a lake?

there is two lakes, oh my god, you have to come here so i can show you this place, you will love it, i met daniel de lewis running round the lake last week, come over, your family can stay in my place,

Ah! You are tempting me with good looking celebrities!! ;p

The pictures were amazing, and yes, it does look like heaven on earth.

The only place that looks remotely close around my parts is Big Sur California...love going there !
