escitalopram 10mg 3 weeks in

So about 3 years ago I was diagnosed with BPD and I was prescribed pristiq....After a year I had a bad reaction and stopped treatment cold turkey....A year later I had a relapse....went and saw my GP again and this time around she diagnosed me with MDD and GAD and she had prescribed me escitalopram 10 mg. 2nd day of taking it I had an anxiety attack and had called the ambulance because I thought I had a reaction but turns out that it's just a side effect. ...but I continued taking it and after 2 weeks I thought I was starting to get better. And lately I've been feeling irritated and then completely tired...then irritated and tired again....All in one day....so my question is. ..has anyone experienced this?

may well just be some residual side effects going on. however i strongly urge you to keep in contact with your doctor and inform her of this. escitalopram, i believe that is lexapro, i hope this is right,(just checked. it is right.) for some people it is an intense medication, maybe your body is just building up to receiving it. still i would contact your doctor. lexapro was way too intense for me. i had one other common symptom, brain zaps. i hope you feel better soon. others will come on with further information. keep strong.
